Certification & production

From testing to the production API key.

How does certification work to get a production key? Do I need an appointment, a form or to send MARKs?

From your application, in the sandbox, you run the basic scenarios B1–B5: a document with two VAT rates, a credit note for it, printing, a deliberate error, and the same document again (error 228). Then you submit the certification request online, within 30 days. You need no appointment, no Word file and no MARKs: we can see your documents ourselves. Card payments, food service, goods movement, B2G, OSS and Onboarding are not certified; you simply declare them in the request. Certification is free of charge.

Are the certification scenarios run in the sandbox or in production?

In the sandbox. Certification is the check before you move to production, and a production key is issued only after it is approved. Because sandbox documents are deleted after 30 days, you must submit the request within that period after running the scenarios.

How is production activated, and how do I get the production key after certification?

Once your certification request is approved, we send you the instructions for the production account and key in the same request. Production is a completely separate environment, with its own base URL (https://provider.timologisi.online), account and API key. There you buy credits and activate your clients. The sandbox key does not work in production (HTTP 401).

Does the API cover both B2B invoices and B2C receipts, and can I start with B2B only and add B2C later?

Yes. The API covers all document types from 1.1 to 11.5 with the same SendInvoices call, so you can start with B2B invoices only and add retail receipts later. For clients with retail (B2C) sales, the Onboarding API request also needs ispDetails.

Are card payments certified (EFT/POS scenario)?

No. With the new process only the basic scenarios B1–B5 are certified. Card / IRIS payments, like the other modules (food service, goods movement, B2G, OSS, Onboarding), are not certified: you declare them in the request and check them yourself with the guide and Postman (folder 4).

Is a separate certification test needed for 11.2 or for an 11.1 with goods movement (isDeliveryNote)?

No. In B1 you send an 11.1 for retail or a 1.1 for wholesale. The 11.2 (service provision receipt) follows the same logic and needs no separate test. An 11.1 with isDeliveryNote: true belongs to goods movement, which you declare in the request but which is not certified.
